A ferry to PGE Narodowy Stadium? Absolutely!

10 July 2026

Summer is the perfect time to discover the capital's charms from a new perspective. A fantastic way to enjoy a day out with family and friends is taking the "Pliszka" ferry from Warsaw's left bank to Poniatówka Beach, where a short walk leads straight to PGE Narodowy Stadium.

The arrival of warm weather is an excellent time to relax by the water and embark on micro-trips. PGE Narodowy Stadium is one of the capital's iconic landmarks, which can be visited even more easily during the broader summer season using public transport. All this is thanks to the Warsaw Tourist Lines, which, following the example of previous seasons, have launched their ferry connections.

The W2 "Pliszka" ferry operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 1 May to 20 September, while during the peak summer holiday season, from 1 July to 31 August, sailings run daily. The ferry trip from the riverbank by Poniatowski Bridge to the popular Poniatówka Beach, located near PGE Narodowy Stadium, takes just a few minutes and not only allows you to save time but also to admire beautiful views and enjoy the refreshing Vistula breeze.

Ferry rides are free of charge. The "Pliszka" also accommodates bicycles. On weekdays, the first ferries depart at 12:45 pm and the last at 7:30 pm, whereas on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the "Pliszka" starts its runs as early as 9:30 am, running until 8:00 pm. Detailed information about the Warsaw Tourist Lines (WLT) can be found at www.wtp.waw.pl/warszawskie-linie-turystyczne and the rules for sailing on the "Pliszka" at www.wtp.waw.pl/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/Rozklad-promu-W2-%E2%80%9EPliszka-Plaza-Poniatowka.pdf.

Guided tours of PGE Narodowy Stadium allow you to discover the secrets of the largest stadium in Poland, where football stars like Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappé have showcased their skills. Visitors can choose a tour route tailored to their needs and interests. The core of every tour is the approx. 60-minute "Football Emotions" route, which takes you across the playing field, through the stands, the Polish national team's dressing room, the Mixed Zone (where players walk out onto the pitch), and the Trophy Zone featuring original memorabilia from UEFA Euro 2012.

The "Feel Like a VIP" route takes you further into the stadium's prestigious spaces, including VIP suites and the Business Club, revealing what the world of major sports and cultural events looks like from the perspective of special guests. Meanwhile, participants of the "At the Heart of the Action" tour will see, among other things, the Control Room, press working areas, and special technical spaces. This route is a true behind-the-scenes lesson on how football matches, media broadcasts, and mass events are brought to life.

You can buy tour tickets online at www.sklep.pgenarodowy.pl or at the ticket desks in the stadium's Main Reception, subject to availability (entry through Gate 1 from Aleja Zieleniecka).

Find out more about the tours at www.wycieczki.pgenarodowy.pl. A guided tour ticket also entitles you (at no extra charge) to individual entry to the Observation Deck, which offers a breathtaking view of the entire stadium interior.
